Picture Overload...Sorry

I am hoping that sharing this many pictures doesn't bother anyone, but the pictures say it better than I ever could.

It was a crazy week, as usual.  Nick had night classes most of the week, so we saw him even less than usual.  Though he made up for it this weekend, as he chose to blow off homework until Sunday night so he could share Conference Weekend with us.  It was really nice to be with him for a little while and Annalie really enjoyed the extra attention.
One of Annalie's latest games is to climb into a bucket and ask Daddy to "swing" her.
Here they are shouting "We did it!" after swinging one night.
The girls also got a care package from Grandma and Grandpa this week.  While she loved the books and headbands and socks, Annalie truly couldn't wait to get her hands on the Cheetos!
We also celebrated Brooklyn (and Andy's) first birthdays on Saturday night.  My parents will be out of town next weekend for their real birthdays, so we wanted them to be able to participate in the festivities. I can't fully describe how it feels to have another 1-year-old, but it was a joy to celebrate.  So, in hopes of giving you a taste of the party, here are some carefully selected photos from the event. I hope you enjoy them.

Waiting for the guys to get back from the Priesthood Session.  It was all we could do to keep the 4 kiddos out of the gifts.

The Daddies got to help blow out the candles!
And true to her character, Brooklyn played nicely in the icing.  Daddy didn't think it was appropriate to do things so neatly, so he made sure to smear a little frosting on her cheeks, in honor of Grandpa.
Andy had a more enthusiastic approach!
I do think she enjoyed all of the attention she was getting though. I don't think she had ever had that many eyes and cameras focused on her at once before.
She did get it figured out after a bit of watching Andy go to town on his cake.
Then she thought it was quite fun to smash it all to bits.
I think she had more cake on her shirt than in her mouth! :D

After a bit, she started throwing it on the floor.  (She has recently discovered that if she drops something, mommy usually picks it up and gives it back to her).

She wasn't very happy when I didn't give it back.
Andy actually did get most of his cake in his mouth (though it doesn't look like it here) and ended up with quite the tummy ache later.
Daddy and Brookie relaxing during conference.
Annalie playing tag with MY cousin's kids after dinner.  She crashed on the couch after we got home.
Brookie wasn't quite ready to crash yet, but she did have A LOT of fun playing with her balloons.
We hope you all had a great week and look forward to hearing from you all! Love and miss you!!!
